WELCOME TO JAPAN It floated a Japanese atmosphere. Food not as good as in Japan but it was competitive! We waited for that moment such a long time. The first event was postponed because of the weather conditions. That day was cold and grey! We made it until there, to la Florida. RAMEN ! It was a good noodle, not exactly the ramen, but the taste was so delicious.
Easy to eat with chopsticks! It was a journey to Japan:) With Juliette and Lisa!

A sweet weekend! It started on Friday with chocolate ice cream, then on Saturday a fondant and vanilla ice cream
and a ton of crepes with nutella and manjar...I avoid deserts at Heart of Brussels, a place where sweets are made with succulent chocolate - made in Brussels! I´ll get there one day... It was definitely to sweet! BIO BIO MARKET Going to a market? Great and adventurous... Prices are a way cheaper than in a supermarket and it is fun! It is very near to the Andes.
Welcome to the Quebrada de MaculJust a friendly reminder. Think about your waste! QUEBRADA DE MACULAbout the group? I found this hike on CS / couchsurfing. Let's meet and hike! You get on the bus and 30 minutes later you are in the mountains. Santiago is great for that as it is surrounded by the Cordillera. When I arrived in Chile, I bought hiking boots as mine are still in Germany... I have been waiting patiently for a month for this moment, my boots were even as impatient as me :} We reached our goal Cascade San Juan within the time recommended. As the group was motivated, we went a bit further to another waterfall. We had to head back because of the weather. It got colder and it was time to go back. THE PARTICIPANTSIt was a fun group to hike with. Great atmosphere, lots of fun and nice hike! Pictures time! ENJOY THE SILENCE OF NATURERELAXING AT THE END OF THE HIKE REFRESHING ENERGIZING STREET ARTSCOLOURFUL and NICE! The sun goes to Japan - BYEWe passed by the temple Baha'i and we just went up to enjoy the sunset. By the time we got there, it was freezing but beautiful. WHEN CHINA COMES TO CHILE.... AI WEIWEI Born in 1957, A. Weiwei lived the cultural revolution and went to NYC for 13 years. Qin Wei, his father was also an artist, poet and even went to Chile. He met Pablo Neruda too, a famous Chilean writer. He was persecuted from the Chinese government as A. Weiwei is. In his art, he criticized openly the Chinese repression and also used the current political movement like the Syrian migrants. Inoculation is an exhibition to open the public' eyes. I would be aware of the repression that exists in this world. Based on what I lived and saw in China, I can reflect on A. Weiwei's art using symbols as the Chinese porcelain, bikes, and paintings connecting the past to the present. He also brings into plays items like cameras in a redundant manner exposing himself against the Chinese government. He gets inspired from the current political and economic events. He also experienced with migrants a run away a that is depicted in one of his work. It reflected what I experienced during 15 months... POWERFUL!
